~(Be)lieve in (You)rself~
When you think of the word believe, what is the first thing that comes to mind?
Believe and Receive is what Jesus taught. Does this mean you believe something and it’s right there like a result of rubbing a magic genie bottle? Most likely, not that quickly, but I feel that if you truly believe, you will receive. I’ve used my daughter’s journey of overcoming leukemia on a few posts, but feel we all have extraordinary experiences in our lives, some harder than others for us to overcome, but nonetheless, they are lessons to be learned. The lesson I learned at the beginning of her treatment was to Believe and Receive. I prayed (and still do) for her daily and thanked God for her restored health and believed that she was perfectly healthy. I kept this mindset for years and received what I believed. I know there are circumstances where we believed and did not receive what we wanted. Some say things happen the way they are meant to happen; to teach us lessons, even when we can not imagine what lesson could be learned from sometimes unimaginable situations and heartache. I feel that some circumstances are just inexplicable. And that maybe one day we will understand the lesson or receive what was meant for us to receive, which is not always what we thought we wanted in the moment.
When I think of people who believed in themselves, Martin Luther King, Jr., Steve Jobs, Louise Hay, Brendan Marrocco, Janine Shepherd, Robyn Benincasa, and Neal D. Walsch are several names that come to mind. You must believe in yourself before anyone else will. (Be)lieve in (You)rself! Who inspires you to believe in yourself?
If you desire to believe and receive, do it with absolute faith, acceptance, expectancy, and no doubt in your mind and then let it go, knowing it is already done! The letting go and leaving it alone to manifest are the hard part. You may state your belief in prayer, meditation, to a friend, or the whole world and then once stated, take action and believe without wavering or second guessing. Believe and Receive.
“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 21:22)
